Working to preserve, share and celebrate youth culture history

We are building a Museum of Youth Culture celebrating the styles, scenes and sounds forged by young people over the last 100 years.

We are all about celebrating our own stories of individuality, self expression and defiance, and building a museum that everyone can be part of without elitism, lengthy contracts or paperwork. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to submit your photographs, to tell us your spoken stories and to send us your objects that tell us what it was like growing up in Britain.

It's about the time the UK has a designated and accessible safe haven for the rich cultural movements created by young people.

Launching in September 2019, the Online Museum of Youth Culture is a new platform to house Britain's rich youth culture history, with an interactive timeline, education platform and submissions platform.

The Museum of Youth Culture has been developed by YOUTH CLUB, a not-for-profit, Heritage Lottery Funded organisation working to preserve, share, educate and celebrate youth culture history through a passionate network of photographers and creatives. We celebrate youth culture through curated events, exhibitions, collaborations and consultancy.
